We've won an Award!

We’re delighted to win Learning Technologies BEST 'Learning Game' Bronze Award for our ‘Aces in their Places’ collaboration with Domino’s.

The competition was very strong, to win a bronze award is a real achievement for Autonomy, closely behind silver; BBC News & Aardman Animations, and overall gold winner; CCEA - STEM in Minecraft - Congratulations to all!

Over 400 entries, from 22 categories

finalists were selected by an independent panel of experts organised by the eLearning Network.

‘Aces in their Places’ builds on a suite of bite-sized learning created by Autonomy which enhances user engagement through game based learning, underpinning Domino’s need for ‘just in time’ training for their ‘Effective Shift Management’ module, supporting the ‘healthy competitive nature’ of their brand.

Achieving a feat that classroom base learning can’t, the cost-effective game reached out to 20k workplace learners across their network.

An impressive 82% of users gained a new learning outcome and 78% preferred learning from a game, what a successful delivery!

The judges were thrilled with ‘the well-executed game, which successfully answers the many challenges of making learning work within limiting criteria (time, availability, franchise, etc.).’

All judges identified the great potential for enhancement through further gameplay and gaming mechanics. The judges commented that they would love to see the next evolution entered for an award next year!
