With a huge range of experience in the automotive sector Paul began his career as an engineer.

He joined the Volkswagen Group where he delivered, and then managed Technical Training for SEAT, Sköda, Volkswagen and the Group’s Paint & Body Programme; a move into various after-sales marketing roles within the group then followed.

After a decade with Volkswagen, Paul moved to the supplier side, working with agencies and clients before settling with BBH on their Audi UK account.

“ I am really pleased to join the team at Autonomy!
At the Volkswagen Group I recognised the importance of a supplier who understands the technology and the challenges of delivering learning to a Dealer network.

I’m a particular advocate of using video to support technical training, something that Autonomy has always excelled at. It’s a great tool for demonstrating complex procedures, enabling technicians to visualise the work flow far better than any workshop literature can achieve.  And of course it can be accessed wherever, whenever the technician needs it.

Looking at the projects that Autonomy are currently working on, I’m particularly excited at the knowledge banks they are developing for their automotive clients and the new developments in interactive video, which enhance traditional video by introducing questions and branching.”

Video is still one of the biggest hits for learners!

We've made some impressive interactive video quizzes, where we add interactions to video, creating games or branching scenarios, the learner can choose a path and have specialised outcomes.
