Video didn't kill the radio star, it transformed it…
By 2020 online video will total more than 82% of all internet traffic, 71% will be from mobile delivery - that’s a whopping 15 times higher than 2017! (Cisco). Video is earmarked by Fosway as a top growth area for digital learning, topping 74% in 2019.
Amazingly, according to Google, 6/10 people would rather view online video than TV, watch out terrestrial!
This digital transformation, coupled with the fact that viewers retain 95% of a message when they watch it in video, compared to 10% when reading it in text (Forbes) is a pretty compelling argument to use video for learning!
Video is one of the most powerful tools for communicating learning and development with employees, after all 93% of human communication is visual. Video helps users to build their retention of information, grow acceptance and increase engagement, creating effective learning journeys.

Here at Autonomy, we can help you to create inspiring learning content using video, whether it’s for communication, motivation, knowledge, hard or soft skills. It may be how to perform a task or modelling scenarios by demonstrating real-life, simulations or social interactions that enable choice, constructing learning transfer and behavioural change.
Our technical training has seen a massive increase in video too, it’s the perfect tool for demonstrating complex procedures, enabling technicians and product managers to visualise real-life workflows.
When it comes to format, we will help you to find the best mode of delivery, for online learning.
We can shoot in-house, on location or even use green screen to simulate a virtual environment.
You may wish to use linear video or add 'bells and whistles' generating interactive video or utilising 360, GoPro or Drone footage.
Don't forget, our Knowledge Bank App gives you a chance to be smarter and faster! You can curate video, alongside other learning materials, that are trusted and searchable, providing users with knowledge at their fingertips.
Employees can socially engage and collaborate, making learning part of everyday through accessing bite-sized chunks of content, available anytime, anywhere!
