An obvious example of this is the growth of ‘Micro Learning’, bite-size chunks of online information that can be easily ‘snacked on’ and ‘digested’, whenever the employee is ‘hungry for knowledge’!
When we want to know something, we don’t book a course or read a book, we jump on our phones and go online, usually to Google or YouTube. Curiosity wants 'you' to be the one that solves the problem.
Allowing users to create their own learning journey and outcomes totally supports our thinking about 'personalised' Informal Learning!
