Digital Account Manager

Reporting to the Managing Director, the Account Manager responsibilities are to deliver outstanding customer service and project management skills that, in turn, will nurture business relationships and spend levels from existing customers.

You will be working closely with our clients, monitoring project activity, preparing reports and suggesting enhancements to their training solutions. And you will work closely with our development team, testing new solutions and helping in their development and deployment.

We need somebody who is commercially astute and confident in their approach and delivery. Within the role you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong client relationships, writing creative briefs, putting commercial proposals together for existing clients, managing project plans and ensuring work is completed on-time and on budget.

It’s a great opportunity to join an ambitious, creative, fast moving team and gain some great experience in all areas of digital media production.

We are looking for somebody with the following key personal attributes;

  • Self-motivated with a pro-active and passionate approach; you’ll be someone who wants to make a difference.

  • Experience of dealing with and developing profitable customer relationships and strong client facing skills.

  • Commercial focus and a view to spot sales opportunities, where possible.

  • Able to manage budgets and project timings, interpret data with accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Willing to take ownership of a problem and with your colleagues find the best solution to resolve it.

  • Be an excellent communicator, persuasive and well informed about the products and services offered by the company.

  • Have a flexible attitude towards all types of work (a positive 'can do' attitude) and be prepared to work outside of normal hours if required.

  • Have the ability to prioritise, be thorough and organised with a positive outlook and excellent time management within a high pressure environment.

  • Relevant creative/digital agency experience, along with a knowledge of Mac and eLearning software Articulate Storyline and/or Adobe Creative suite is of an advantage, but in-house training will also be given to help the right candidate familiarise themselves with our production environment.

And you should have an interest in digital media and even better an interest in helping people to learn in their workplace.

Do you have extensive experience designing and developing innovative learning materials? Are you looking to join a forward-thinking environment that will value your creative mindset?

  • Experience working in an L&D environment, preferably in-house.

  • An understanding of Articulate Storyline and Rise authoring tools.

  • An understanding of learning methodologies and the ability to apply design theories, practices and methods.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business.

  • Adept at managing upwards, keeping senior project stakeholders on track.

  • Effective project management skills.

  • A tenacious and resilient attitude; able to multi-task and used to working in a fast-paced environment.
